China’s
Shocking Dog and
Cat Fur Trade
PETA
recently conducted
an undercover investigation
into the Chinese
dog and cat fur
trade to show you
what the industry
is so desperate
to hide. Even our
veteran investigators
were horrified at
what they found:
Millions of dogs
and cats in China
are being bludgeoned,
hanged, bled to
death, and strangled
with wire nooses
so that their fur
can be turned into
trim and trinkets.
We have to warn
you: What you're
about to see may
make you sick to
your stomach.

Dog
and cat fur is often
deliberately mislabeled
as fur from other
species and is exported
to the United States
to be sold to unsuspecting
shoppers.
All
of J.Crew's fur
is imported from
China, so there's
no telling whose
skin is on its coat
collars. Please
use the form below
to ask J.Crew to
reconsider the cruelty
that it is supporting
by selling fur.
Let the company
know that you won't
be shopping there
until all the fur
is pulled from the
shelves and the
company agrees never
to sell fur again.
